Setelah sukses dengan buku JAKARTA UNDERCOVER seri 1 – 2 – 3, penulis kelahiran Tuban, Jawa Timur, 13 Februari 1973 ini merilis sebuah buku baru kumpulan puisi bertajuk CINTA ITU KAMU. Dalam kesempatan itu , Emka juga memperkenalkan dirinya sebagai penyanyi dengan melansir single hit berjudul Patah yang ditulisnya sendiri, sementara aransemennya digarap Bojes,eks AFI, dan Fahim Gift. Selain buku dan single hits, Emka masih menawarkan ide kreatifnya lewat Musikalisasi Cerita Cinta yang menjadi bonus track di CD single Patah. Musikalisasi Cerita Cinta adalah bagian dari kumpulan puisi Emka yang dibacakannya dengan diiringi backsound lagu populer milik Kerispatih, Hello, dan Wali yang bisa juga diunduh menjadi RBT (ring back tone). “Ya, karya ini memang untuk orang yang jatuh cinta. Saya hanya ingin mengatakan kalau cinta itu ternyata kompleks dan penuh warna. Semua orang pernah merasakan,” ujarnya di Indochine, FX Plaza, Jumat (26/3). Beberapa artis yang hadir dalam acara tersebut didapuk untuk membawakan puisi karya Emka, seperti Cornelia Agatha, Vira Yuniar, Vicky Burky dan Baim Wong. Mereka membawakan secara apik penuh penghayatan puisi–puisi yang mewakili perasaan masing–masing. “Dan memang begitulah cinta,” imbuhnya. “Apapun yang tersirat mewakili nama cinta akan terasa indah untuk dikenang meski kisahnya senantiasa berbeda antara yang satu dengan yang lainnya,” tambahnya lagi.
