Awalnya, ide itu muncul karena dalam beberapa kesempatan talkshow dan dari sejumlah email yang masuk, ada saja yang bertanya kenapa saya tidak menerbitkan buku Jakarta Undercover untuk perempuan. Maksudnya? Kalau dalam buku Jakarta Undercover 1,2&3 sebagian besar isinya memuat berbagai macam pesta gila dan seluk beluk industri sex-tainment untuk laki-laki, kenapa yang untuk perempuan justru tidak dibahas. Ide itu sudah cukup lama jadi bahan pertimbangan saya. Tapi, dalam perjalanannya tak kunjung kelar. Saya baru sempat membuat outline kasar dan setelah itu, outline itu tersimpan rapi di file laptop dan nggak saya sentuh lagi. Tiba-tiba saja, tanpa sengaja ketika saya sedang membuka-buka file lama, saya menemukan outline Jakarta Undercover for Girls yang masih belum matang sebagai sebuah konsep. Maklum, pesta gila dan industri sex-taiment yang melibatkan perempuan sebagai pelaku aktif, memang tidak se-dahsyat dibanding yang terjadi pada kaum laki-laki. Makanya itu, saya butuh observasi lagi untuk bisa membuat tulisan tentang peristiwa dan kejadian “undercover”, khusunya yang dilakoni kaum perempuan. Pastinya, banyak tantangan dan kesulitan baru untuk mengungkapkannya. Tunggu saja tanggal mainnya. Siapa tahu, tahun depan, buku Jakarta Undercover for Girls bisa saya selesaikan.
